Determination of quality activities of small and medium sized forest products industry establishments example of Giresun city

In last years because of globalizatior either developed or nondeveloped countries are going towards a common economic union. In order to have better life standarts people are running economic organizations out of their national frontiers. Also the country economies which does not spread out of their frontier become closed in themselves and starting to collapse. In our research it is searched the quality control activities in small and medium sized forest industry managements, our aim is to obtain if these managements have the quality standarts to competite with foreign markets in those days Turkey when we coined the Europen Union. Another aim is to find the react of the owners or the organizers of those managements to the quality control. It is applied 65 questionnaires to the small and medium sized forest industry managements. The managements are choosen random. The values found out from the questionnaires are shown as shapes and tables. It is used khi square as statical method. In some of the conclusions the answers taken from the questionnaires are utilized by their points of importance. From the conclusions obtained, it is a fact that the economic power of forest products industry in our country has a lower degree than it must have been. Order production made small managements must come together and become medium or big sized ones, this can be by partnerships or by the encouragement of the goverment or by private enterprise. The most important thing is that the owner or the organizers of the small and medium sized forest industry managements must have the mentality of industrialist.
