Abstract (EN)
Küçükçekmece Lake Basin the area that Bathonea archaeological excavations area. Long a go the area was connected to the Küçükçekmece district, After sometime it has connected to the lakes. West coast called „Avcılar‟ district. And now it‟s located in the Firuzköy Peninsula this in Avcılar district. Archaeological work‟s subject is about the white ware ceramics that founf in the Küçükçekmece Lake Basin area during Bathonea arcaelolgial excavations. The glazed white ware ceramics that found in the archaeologicalexcavations contains Byzantium glazed ceramics that will be the subject of this article. During this archaeological research total of 205 artifacts have cataloged and evaluated. Whit in this archaeological research, we have detected seven different type sand evaluated. This type; Glazed White Ware I (GWW I), Glazed White Ware II (GWW II), Glazed White Ware IV (GWW IV), Petal Ware, Polycrome, Spatter Ceramics and Undecorated Ceramics. Whit in this research in tensity of artifacts that based in this area, necessaries of life, qualifications of the structures in the area, Production and trade network related detailed information determined. Similar workshops located near this area have compared to one another.
