Abstract (EN)

Turkish ceramic art holds an important place at the intersection of culture, art and market. Ceramics, both as an art and a craft, has been an integral part of Turkish culture throughout history. However, unfortunately, in relation to the art market, ceramic art does not receive widespread recognition and appreciation like other art forms with high economic value. It has been observed that ceramic art, which has its own technique and aesthetics, needs to gain an important place in the market. Evaluation of Turkish ceramic art in the context of culture, art and market shows both the historical depth of the art and the diversity of its contemporary applications. Ceramic art, which has a rich history that forms the roots of Turkish culture, shapes the relationship between art and the market by building bridges between historical and contemporary values. However, it is also a fact that Turkish ceramic art needs more promotion in order to gain wider recognition and value in the international market. Combining traditional methods and materials with modern technologies and approaches has made Turkish ceramic art an innovative and attractive field, as well as becoming interesting for potential investors and collectors. With this thesis study, it is aimed to determine the position of ceramic art in the art market and to examine the potential opportunities offered by the media opportunities of the 21st century in terms of its marketing and to present solution suggestions. These solution suggestions aim to increase the recognition and value of Turkish ceramic art and help it reach a wider audience in the national and international art market. Key Words: Ceramics, Culture, Art market, Technology, Gallery
