Bosniak music culture in terms of cultural change: Sampling in Kütahya

Bosniak it has been used as an integrative and unifying identity, especially in the Balkan countries such as Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, which interact with many ethnic groups and tribes throughout history, especially those accepting Islam, which started with the conquest of these lands by the Ottoman Empire. The Bosniaks had experienced many breakdowns (the Balkan Wars, the Bosnian War, the dissolution of Yugoslavia and the massacres and genocides during this period) throughout the historical period, so the Bosniaks migrated to Anatolia following the Islam's spread during the Ottoman Empire It is known that Anatolia has formed a Bosniak identity and culture in many provinces and villages where they have migrated. This study; As a result of the in and out migrations of the Bosniaks during the historical period, they settled in the villages called Çayca, Parmakören and Yenibosna in Kütahya. Especially the changing ages and social events caused the Bosniaks to migrate from their villages to the city centers. This internal migration leads to various cultural interactions and changes. Therefore, the aim of this study is to investigate the Bosniak identity, the effects of migrating to their social life and music practices, in the settlements where they settled, and the cultural changes due to internal and external migrations.
