Abstract (EN)

Today, even if tale narration does not have a central position as it did during the lives of societies before us, it still plays an important role in cultural interactions, in the formation of the tastes and ideologies of the society. Today, although the interest in the text of the tale has decreased, the adaptations of the tales in various forms are more attractive. It is known that modern life and globalization have an impact on almost all elements of folk culture. The 21st century is the period in which free adaptations take place for tale narratives. In popular narratives, adaptations of tales exhibit new tendencies and are freely recreated in the form of full tale text or fragmentary motifs of tales. While these adaptations provide a tremendous environment for the spread of the tale, they significantly constrain the experience and problem-solving skills conveyed through it. The narratives we know are re-discovered and re-told from time to time with the development of communication in order to keep their popularity alive. tales, which are social creations, were transmitted by the narrators through the word in an oral culture. However, after the transition to the written culture, the tale narration, which showed changes in accordance with the structure of the period, began to be transferred to folk tales and then through audio-visual tools. With the variety of forms brought by technology, narration forms have also diversified. Today, tales are used to a greater or lesser extent in many areas of daily life and forms of communication. We often encounter tales or tales fragments that we know in television programs, movies, books, or commercials. This use of tales provides new perceptions to well-known tale motifs while expanding the cultural and popular capital of the tale. Today, tales and products with tale elements are produced in order to be temporary as a commodity, not through enrichment and spread, as in the process of its transmission in the oral culture. This, in turn, destroys the cultural content of the tale, and this process reflects the general impact of globalization on culture.
