Abstract (EN)

In Islam, divorce is a social fact that is recognized as one of the ways of ending marital conflicts. This viewpoint, which does not regard divorce as an extraordinary solution, can be seen in the Quran verses and practices of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). In terms of Islam, divorce is not the first and easiest resort but a remedy that avoids problems from intensifying. That's why talaq (divorce by men) is thoroughly explained in the Quran, inclusive of all the rights and responsibilities of parties. It is a fact that talaq, which is a subset of divorce in Islam, is known and implemented wrongly by believers. Although every detail regarding the talaq is given in the Quran, unconsciousness and confusion prevail in practice. This issue applies to all Islamic sects. The Quran verses regarding divorce, however, are crystal clear. If we promote the Quran verses regarding divorce rather than the worries of harms that it may cause to the person or society, divorce plays a restorative and relieving effect in society. In this study, the subject of Talak in Islamic sects and heavenly religions has been discussed. This topic has been evaluated in terms of verses and Hadith. As a result, the Talak and divorce were examined in detail in Islamic law and taken by hand. Keyword: Family, Talak, Islam, Denominations, Quran
