Abstract (EN)

Our thesis, which focuses on the concept of Ashab and its parables in the Quran, consists of five chapters: introduction, three main chapters and conclusion. In the introductory part, the subject, scope, aim, literature review, method and main sources of the research were evaluated in general. In the first chapter, the semantic explanation of the concept of "ashab" and its close meaning, "people" and "ummah", and the meaning of which they are used in the Quran are examined by giving examples from the verses. In the second chapter, in the Qur'an, the Ashab parables in the world life are classified under two headings as Hijaz region and outside, and the main features of these parables, the messeges they give to their interlocutors are identified and examined from tafsir sources. In the third chapter, Ashab parables in the life of the Hereafter are examined. In this study, who is referring to Ashab parables, basic features, universal messages, verses on the axis rumor, sagacity, was put forward by examining the modern period exegesis. In these three main chapters, the parables are socially categorized, in term of content types unlike the parable of people, a new concept has emerged as "ashab parables". In the conclusion part, the study is evaluated in general. Key Words: Qur'an, Parable, Ashab, People, Ummah.
