Putes named in the Qur'an the place in the Arabian society

The knowledge of the beliefs, customs, tradition and administrative structure of the first community addressed by the Qur'an, the pagan Arabs, helps us to identify the beliefs that the Qur'an has changed. The way of life, social aspects and the world views of the pagan Arabs have been the subject of research from the past to the present. The position and significance of the idols of the Pagan Arabs mentioned in the Qur'an reveals the nature of the pagan Arabs belief in God and the Hereafter. For this reason, it is necessary to know the environment and society conditions which the Qur'an was revealed in order to understand the concept of God presented in the Qur'an. Although the foundation of the beliefs of the pagan Arabs consisted of the belief in Allah, it is known that they have been involved deeply in paganism. The way the pagan Arabs idol worship began, the forms of the idol worship and the reasons, constitute the background of this idolatry perception. A good understanding of the Qur'an's message in all its dimensions depends on an understanding of the elements that characterize the pagan Arab society. For this reason, we chose to research the idols mentioned in the Qur'an and their position within the Pagan Arab society.
