Women and men in the Qur'an

Some critics argue that Islam does not give women enough rights and oppresses her. However, in order to evaluate the issue of women in a healthy way, it is necessary to distinguish between the type of women in the Qur'an and the type of women that existed throughout history. Those who criticize the issue of women evaluate the provisions related to women in the "Qur'an" and ip Hadith "books, which are the main sources of Islamic religion, and criticize the legal, socio-economic and political position of women in the historical process. Those who claim to have a women's problem in the Qur'an think that men and women should be "equal da in all matters. However, according to the Qur'an, men and women are equal as men, but they are separated from men by their biological, physiological and psychological characteristics. Almighty Allah declares that one of the men or women is complementary to each other instead of superior to the other and emphasizes the fact that the values of people are in their superiority in the supplication. As Garaudy said, "humanity has been crippled in terms of women since the six thousand-year patriarchal social structure based on male domination." In this process, the positive contributions of the prophets were eliminated in a short time due to the fact that men were "strong". This is largely true for the period after the last Prophet. It is a separate and great responsibility to make a scientific critique of this process in terms of the moral-social position that the Qur'an gives to women. However, if the women's question is to be removed from the "soft belly" of Islam (Qur'an and sahih sunnah) and turned into a "source of mefahir", what is said in the main texts (Qur'an, Hadith) on the relationship between men and women, in the historical context, equality to gender differences, functional complementarity of the sexes and finally the masculine structure of the Arabic language.
