Comparison of the concept of fate in the Quran and the perception of fate of secondary school students

A person's perception of destiny is an element that directly affects his life. Because a person's perspective on life and thought system is related to how he interprets fate. This perception is also largely at the basis of their behavior. The basis of the research is "the perception of fate in secondary school students". By comparing this perception with the concept of fate in the Quran, the differences between secondary school students' perception of fate and the concept of fate in the Quran were tried to be revealed. Our main topic is to what extent the perception of destiny learned from the environment and family in the 11-14 age group overlaps with the Quran. The reason for choosing this topic is that the knowledge and beliefs acquired at this age affect all stages of life and are decisive in children's behavior. If a correct perception of destiny is acquired at this age, the person will live a life that is at peace with himself and in accordance with his nature, and will continue his life on the basis of a positive understanding of religion. Our research group includes 303 students from different levels and different school types. As a result of our research, it becomes clear that the understanding of fate that students in this age group have acquired from their family and environment completely contradicts the concept of fate in the Quran. The prevailing mentality in the majority of society is that God determines everything and the will of the individual is ignored. This understanding is incompatible with human responsibility and free will. Destiny is used in the Qur'an in the sense of measure, harmony, harmony, balance, order and order. Destiny in the Quran; a certain measure, order, law, rule, order, law aimed at achieving the purpose and goal that the Creator has placed in the essence of every being, etc. It passes with meanings. Everything in the universe moves within a certain rule and law, in this sense, there is no coincidence in the universe. It is possible to call this the fate of all existence. This is the concept of fate in the Quran. Human beings have sometimes misinterpreted the Quran under the influence of different religions, sometimes to find support for their own thoughts for different purposes, and have distanced the concept of fate from its original meaning and attributed different meanings to it. In terms of existence in the universe, destiny is the coding of the purposes of existence into the essence of all beings and the placement of the purposes of coming into the universe. Beings act within this purpose. Unlike them, humans have also been given a will and are left free to realize this purpose of existence or not. He was given the extra right to choose by God. This is the destiny of man.
