Gain and loss in the Holy Qur'an

World life is a test. Man either wins or loses what he has done in this test room. Almighty God, who created people for His mercy, sent their messages to their servants through their messengers. In order to be able to exit the world test successfully, it is necessary to correctly understand the Qur'an, which is a guide, and apply it to life. From this point of view, in our study titled "Gain and Loss in the Qur'an", we tried to reveal which situations will be lost and that will be lost for the human, based on verses that express gain and loss. Our study consists of introduction and three parts. In the introduction, we gave information about the importance, purpose, method and scope of the thesis. In the first part, we tried to reveal the dictionary meanings of these words and the meanings they express in the Qur'an by identifying the words that express gain and loss in the Qur'an. In the second part, we drew attention to the features that lead people to profit and the factors that lead to loss. In the third and last chapter, we tried to make our thesis more understandable by concretizing our thesis by means of the examples we chose from the stories of the Qur'an.
