Abstract (EN)

In this study, we aimed to reveal parables of Quran with their targets and specifically that of Talut and Calut, which has significance in both Islam and Judaism, with all aspects by analyzing related informations. The study is consisted of three chapters. Prior to parable of Talut and Calut, general informations about parables were given and word of "parable" and its relations with other words was analyzed in literal and term meaning. Furthermore, parables were examined in terms of types, main characteristics, influence on individuals and society, reflections on life of Prophet, role on education of believers, social life, religious life. Then, informations about parables were discussed with their reality and repetitons. The study focused on revelation environment of surah of Baqara, which contains the parable, with regards to the factors of human being and environment. It was stated that vision of Quran on history is not historical due to precedent and the antecedent of verses in content integrity. The main characters of parable, Talut and Calut, are mentioned with their personality and effects of isra'iliyyat is studied covering message of Quran. Main topics in the parable are studied with perspectives of Holy Bible and Quran. Also, names of God and their influence in the parable are examined with reasons of taking place. Moreover, concepts in brevity of human intellect is studied with five main principles. These are chosenness, knowledge, community, wealth and other concepts. Finally, the study is finished with meaning of sacred relics Tabut, Sekine and Bakiyye. Key Words: Parable, Talut, Calut, Israelites, Concept, Holy Bible
