Abstract (EN)
The correct understanding of words and concepts is of great importance in understanding and interpreting religious texts. The message that religious texts want to give; it is communicated through words, concepts and sentences. In order for a person, who has a great value in the Qur'an to have the qualifications desired by Allah, the concepts should be well known and the meanings attributed to these concepts should be understood correctly. We decided to study the thesis called the concept of "qıst" in the Qur'an, in order to contribute to the meaning of the concept of "qıst" in the Qur'an, which describes itself as a guide to people in which verse and how it should be understood. Qest means justice, fairness, measure, equity, fair share. The first meaning that comes to mind is justice, as a noun from the verb "kaseta/قسط". However, when this word is used as an infinitive, it takes on an antonymous feature and is used in the meanings of "acting justly, giving the right holder his share fairly" and doing injustice, not giving the share of the right owner". In our study, the verses in which the concept of qıst and its derivatives are mentioned are discussed under the subject headings containing their importance, by making use of the approaches of many tafsir schools. Thus, it is tried to reveal the meaning and depth of the concept of qıst. During our research, when the verses in which the concept of qıst and the concept of adl are examined are examined, it is seen that the concept of qıst expresses a higher degree of justice. KEYWORDS: Qur'an, Tafsir, Qıst, Justice, Trial Balance
