The relati̇onshi̇p between bli̇ef and fear i̇n the students of the courses of Qur'an (The example of Tarsus)

In this research, the effect of the level of the religious knowledge, religious fear and secular fear of the Quran course students on the subjects is tried to be investigated. These people live in Mersin and its countryside Tarsus and its villages. They are from 7 different groups of occupation. This research is done on 400 people with questionnarie. The information gathered from these people with guestion arie are evaluated by SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences). In this research, it is seen that when the level of religious knowledge of subjects increase, they fear from the God more. We have seen that the women are far away from the other fears with the fear of God. It is seen that there is a meaningful relationship between not doing the responsibility to God and the level of the religious knowledge of the people. It is seen that the people who have enough religious knowledge fear from the death more than the other groups. It is seen that women fear from the death much more than men. When the level of the religious knowledge of the people decrease, the people fear from the faithless death. The subjects stated that they are worry about poverty, losing of their job, losing of their health, anxiety of future, natural disasters, not raising their children good, degeneration of the society, the fast changes of the life and technological developments and deformation of the nature. There is a meaningful relationship between the results of having hard time to trust people and the level of the religious knowledge of the people. When the level of religious knowledge increase, the problem of trust to people decrease. KEY WORDS: Courses of Qur'an, Blief, Fear, Religion, Religiousity
