Asabiyyah according to the Qur'an and Sunnah

Throughout history, one of the problems in front of the development of humanity has been the understanding of asabiyyah. Allah has sent prophets to mankind since the first man.Each prophet showed the right way to the society to which she was sent, by fighting the wrong thoughts in that society and by conveying divine messages. Our Prophet, who was the last link in the chain of prophethood, also struggled with the irritability of the period of ignorance, which was the biggest disease in her society. Asabiyyah is when a person sees her own race and nation as superior and sees other races as worthless.In other words, it is the understanding of helping one's own brother, whether he is cruel or oppressed. The term ignorance, which expresses the period before Islam, is the name of a mentality.In order to understand the change brought about by the Prophet, it is necessary to understand the period of ignorance well.In our research, the most important feature of the period of ignorance, the understanding of asabiyyah and its reflections in social life are discussed.In particular, the verses in the Qur'an and the struggle of our Prophet with irritability throughout her life have been examined in depth, especially in relation to our study. In addition, it was pointed out that acting with national feelings and keeping kinship relations alive should not be confused with the mentality of racism.Because it is natural for a person to have national feelings and emotions. Qualified muslim loves her homeland, nation and sacred values, especially the society she lives in.In the first part of this study, which consists of two main parts, the conceptual framework and the understanding of asabiyyah in the period of ignorance are mentioned. In the second part, the concept of asabiyyah according to the Qur'an and Sunnah is discussed in detail.
