Özet (EN)

The globalization process, which is still one of the most debated issues, stands out with its technological, social and political dimensions. Achieving economic growth and sustaining stability is at the forefront of the basic objectives of all societies. In this context, it is important to reveal the effects of globalization on economic growth. In this study, the causality relationship between globalization and economic growth in selected countries was tested by using panel data analysis method with 2000-2016 period data. Dumitrescu and Hurlin (2012) causality test were used as methods in the study and they were subjected to an econometric analysis to estimate the effects of globalization on economic growth. According to the findings obtained from the analysis, while there is bi-directional causality relationship between economic growth and economic globalization, economic growth and social globalization, economic growth and technological globalization; from economic growth to general globalization and from economic growth to political globalization.
