Abstract (EN)
This research was carried out in the Alg Unit laboratory at Atatürk University Faculty of Aquaculture in order to investigate the lead and nickel removal of Desmodesmus armatus.D. armatus was applicated three doses (0.025 mgL-1, 0.21 mgL-1, 0.25 mgL-1) lead and three doses (0.02 mgL-1, 0.05 mgL-1, 0.3 mgL-1) nickel. At the end of the study trial, the highest absorption was detected at 13 days (0.0003±0,0mg L-1) when administered at a dose of 0.025 mg L-1. It has been found that D.armatus removes about 80% of the lead in the water. Nickel absorption in cultures for nickel application was found to be at the 7th day (0.006±0.0 mg L-1) at the maximum dose of 0.02 mg L-1, but reached the reintroduction level at the end of the experiment.As a result of analysis D. armatus was found to be effective in removal lead, but nickel removal was determined that did not have much effect.
