Abstract (EN)

With the rapid introduction of technology, the increase in accessibility through the cheapening of the internet, the increase in the use of mobile devices, and the widespread use of social media, people have started to produce significant amounts of data in addition to the systems used in corporate. Nowadays, it is seen that these data can be stored easily and cheaply. Realizing that the data which is stored by the institutions have become valuable as a result of the analysis, institutions have entered the process of converting business and management processes to digital. This process is called Digital Transformation. Although digital transformation is known as the effective use of technology in organizations, the fact that technology is used in institutions is not the exact definition of digitalization. It is the effective use of the system by the employees in the organization and the management of the transformation in such a way that the system can be beneficial for the organization. In this study, the definition and the examples of digital transformation in different sectors have been examined, the focus is on the health sector, and a digital transformation proposal has been presented for a health institution
