Web based risk analysis platform design for enterprise risk management

Nowadays, people try to manage the events with the least harm and the most benefit by exhibiting their attitudes according to their knowledge, skills and experiences. Similarly, organizations are exposed to various risks in their activities and use different types of methods to manage them. Corporate risk management systems usage increasing day by day from the instutions, to adapt to market conditions that are constantly developing and changing, to eliminate potential risks completely or to minimize losses and to achieve gains from risks. Activities are carried out on printed forms in traditional corporate risk management systems. In studies with electronic or paper print forms without the use of a database, it becomes difficult to benefit from retrospective data and information as time goes on. Increasing risks leads to increase in data, and increasing datas leads to increase difficulty in computation, which are leads to wrong decisions about risks. In this study, a web-based application has been developed in which organizations can manage their risk processes from anywhere. With the application developed, a decision support system has been established in the corporate risk management system where corporate executives can make instant decisions for the risks that may occur. In risk management activities, transactions are accelerated and facilitated. The application can be designed in a flexible structure according to the institutions. With the developed application, the methods, algorithms and parameters used to calculate the risks of the events can be changed by the user. In this way, risk analysis can be performed with the calculation model appropriate to the operational structure of the organization. Historical data can be accessed at any time and by using these data, the severity and probability of future risks can be calculated.
