Abstract (EN)

In this study, the relationships between self-control and self-management, leader effectiveness and professional vitality levels of trainers working in corporate sports centers and sports fields were investigated using a questionnaire method. Self-control and self- management refer to one's beliefs about performing a task and can influence the choice of activity, effort, persistence, and success. By financing past experiences, personal qualities, and social support, people can engage in activities that involve different levels of self- control and self-management. Therefore, it is extremely important for sports trainers to find out how well they are performing in their duties. This knowledge affects self-control and self-management for continued learning and professional vitality. Self-control and self-management affect the competence of sports trainers, and patterns for these effects are explained by research using interventions that include goal setting and feedback. Regardless of the field of study in all branches, research shows that self-control and self- management emphasize the important role that leadership effectiveness and professional vitality play. In the first part of the study, information about sports trainer and sports enterprises, leadership and self-control and self-management in sports psychology are presented in the second part. In the third part, information about the method and methodology related to the survey study is given. In the fourth part, a questionnaire consisting of 45 questions in 8 different categories was prepared to make professional vitality, leader effectiveness, self-control and self-management scale, descriptive and demographic analysis, and this survey was conducted online in the internet environment. A total of 347 people, 156 women and 191 men, participated in the survey. The results of the questionnaire were evaluated by applying Occupational Vitality Scale, Self-Control Self- Management Scale and Leader Effectiveness Scale. The findings of the study conducted in the results and recommendations section were evaluated. It was observed that there was no significant difference at p <0.05 significance level between female and male sports trainers in the entire Leader Effectiveness Scale (LEO) of corporate sports trainers.
