Corporate sustainability perceptive and practices: Analyzing the sustainability reports of Turkey's most valuable brands

In recent years, the effects and causes of climatic and environmental changes in the world have increased the visibility of the concept of sustainability along with many other concepts. This situation has increased the interest of societies, states and businesses to the concept of sustainability in every sense, and policies and strategies related to this issue have begun to be discussed. In addition to the impact of the sustainability practices of the enterprises on the environment, society and economy, it also contributes to the reputation and image of the enterprises. For this reason, businesses prepare sustainability reports in order to announce their contributions. Sustainability reports, which started as a voluntary movement at the beginning, have been rapidly accepted by businesses and the public due to their increasing importance. Businesses share their economic, environmental, social and corporate management success with the public by issuing a sustainability report; As a result, it tries to strengthen its brand image with the increase in its corporate reputation and trust in the business. Content analysis, one of the qualitative research methods, will be used in this research. In this context, first of all, according to the Brand Finance report, the websites of Turkey's top thirty most valuable brands will be examined around sustainability and corporate social responsibility issues. Then, among these thirty companies, the companies that publish sustainability reports will be determined and their sustainability reports will be examined with content analysis and descriptive analysis methods.
