Abstract (EN)
Kurun newspaper's name on November 21, 1934 in the newspaper Vakit newspaper on November 22, 1934 as it was reported to reach readers with the name Kurun. Asım Us explained that he was released by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. Kurun continued its broadcasting life with this name until 31 December 1938, and continued its broadcasting life as Vakit again as of this date. Kurun supported Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's policies during the four years of his life and played an effective role in reaching all the developments in Ankara to the people of Istanbul. Kurun followed the developments in domestic and foreign policy closely and gave the news on the first page. Kurun also appeared in the Turkish press as a newspaper full of content, giving news about cultural activities besides political news. Kurun as an indomitable advocate of Republican policies, continued its broadcasting life as Vakit. The newspaper, which was re-published under the name of Vakit, Asım Us's lost it is effectiveness as a result of the loss of it is political life and withdrew from the publication.
