Abstract (EN)

According to the developments experienced today, crypto assets have started to be more curious and preferred by investors. It is important to prefer crypto assets according to generations. There may be differences in investment and investor profiles and preferences according to generations from past to present. In this study, it is aimed to examine crypto assets according to generations. The study aims to evaluate the impact of these digital currencies on generations and the perception of cryptocurrency assets in Turkey. A quantitative research method was used in the study. The main population of the research consists of individuals aged 18 and above in 81 provinces of Turkey. The sample consisted of 360 individuals who were included in the research through simple random sampling method. Data was collected through a survey technique. Demographic findings, factor analysis, reliability analysis, difference analysis, and multiple regression analyses were conducted on the obtained data. According to the research findings, there are high correlations between variables, and the data is normally distributed. Factors other than the "reliability factor" dimension (perception, investment, transaction, internet) were found to be reliable. Differences between generational groups and these factor dimensions were examined. The hypothesis that there is a difference in responses given to the "perception factors" dimension based on generational differences was supported. However, the hypothesis was not supported by the multiple regression analysis.
