The annotative dictionary of Kutadgu Bilig in terms of vocabulary

In this master thesis, we have studied according to "Kutadgu Bilig III İndeks" by Resit Rahmati Arat. " Kutadgu Bilig", being the earliest book known from Turkish language and culture of Islamic era, is luxuries with valuable information and has very important position in many fields. No doubt it's a highly important book in linguistics, containing 3000 vocabulary. We tried in this article to reach to the origins of some words with the help of Mr. Resit Rahmati Arat's article and the Uyghur version of Kutadgu Bilig. Meanwhile, Turkish and Uygur versions are compared, examples are given. Although Kutadgu Bilig has published in other Turkic languages since its first index released in 1979, but none of them has given index. Keeping this in mind, we tried to start up the annotated dictionary of Kutadgu Bilig and worked on the points that should to be corrected. On this work, we consulted to Semih Tezcan's article of "About the Kutadgu Bilig Index". Introduction of this article is about Kutadgu Bilig itself, its author Yusuf Has Hacib and the index; on the vocabulary part, we focused on vocabulary, Turkish-Uygur comparison of the words, origins of some words and correction of mistakes. After that, examples and their translations are given. Lastly, a conclusion about our dictionary is given.
