Folklore of Kutahya Aydogdu village

Compilation method in the field of folklore is one of the most important methods used for revealing and recording the societies' cultural values. This method is also used for the study of The Folklore of Aydogdu Village. In our study, traditions and belief structures which arise in the daily life of the village were examined.The working area is endeavored to solve, guided by the limitations, classifications and the rules of compilation by making face-to-face interviews with people from the village.Compilation studies play an extremely important role in recording and keeping alive the material and spiritual values about to become extinct.Keywords: Traditions, Folklore, Collection, Culture.
