Ecological and faunistic investigation of spiders (araneae) with pitfall trap in the Kütahya Dumlupınar University Evliya Çelebi Campus

In this work, the spider species of Kütahya Dumlupınar University, Evliya Çelebi Campus have been identified. In the scope of the thesis, nine different habitat spots were selected at the campus of university. In the study, 446 spiders were collected from 45 localities between the April and October of 2012. At the end of the study, 15 species of Gnaphosidae family (Callilepis cretica (Roewer, 1928), Civizelotes caucasius (L. Koch, 1866), Drassodes lapidosus (Walckenaer, 1802), D. pubescens (Thorell, 1856), D. villosus (Thorell, 1856), Drassyllus crimeaensis Kovblyuk, 2003, Haplodrassus signifer (C. L. Koch, 1839), Nomisia exornata (C. L. Koch, 1839), Trachyzelotes malkini Platnick & Murphy, 1984, Zelotes balcanicus Deltshev, 2006, Z. fulvaster (Simon, 1878), Z. longipes (L. Koch, 1866), Z. mundus (Kulczyński, 1897), Z. prishutovae Ponomarev & Tsvetkov, 2006 and Z. strandi (Nosek, 1905); 8 species of Lycosidae family (Alopecosa albofasciata (Brullé, 1832), A. cuneata (Clerck, 1757), A. cursor (Hahn, 1831), A. sulzeri (Pavesi, 1873), Hogna radiata (Latreille, 1817), Pardosa purbeckensis F.O.P.-Cambridge, 1895, Trochosa robusta (Simon, 1876) and T. ruricola (De Geer, 1778); 1 specy of Dysderidae family (Dysdera crocata C. L. Koch, 1838); 3 species of Thomisidae family (Cozyptila thaleri Marusik &Kovblyuk, 2005, Xysticus kochi Thorell, 1872 and X. thessalicus Simon, 1916); 2 species of Nemesiidae family (Brachythele varrialei (Dalmas, 1920) and Nemesia pannonica Herman, 1879); 1 specy of Palpimanidae family (Palpimanus gibbulus Dufour, 1820); 1 specy of Agelanidae family (Tegenaria argaeica Nosek, 1905) and 1 specy of Zodariidae family (Zodarion thoni Nosek, 1905), the total of 32 species belonging to 8 families were identified. The diagnosed species as A. sulzeri (Pavesi, 1873), N. pannonica Herman, 1879, Z. balcanicus Deltshev, 2006, Z. fulvaster (Simon, 1878) and Z. mundus (Kulczyński, 1897) are new records for Turkey.
