Examination of service levels of public transportation vehicles coming to Kütahya Evliya Çelebi campus

As a result of the increase in the purchasing economy and the developing countries, private car ownership has increased and this has caused noise and environmental pollution to serious traffic congestion in urban centers. As a result of transportation planning, it has been concluded that improvements and arrangements should be made in this area where society should be directed to public transportation as a solution to the traffic density in many countries. In order to increase the regulation and development of public transportation, firstly deficiencies and wrong applications should be determined and measurements should be made in this area. In this study, firstly customer satisfaction was emphasized and a survey was applied to public transportation users in this area. Subsequently, the public transport criteria were analyzed by the expert auditor. The results were evaluated according to TCRP 100, TCRP 165, EN 13816, TS-EN 15140 standards. In this study, buses from Evliya Celebi Campus of Kütahya province were investigated. In this context, the service quality of the public transportation systems of Kütahya was determined and a sample study was conducted in order to improve the public transportation.
