Kütahya province with 7 thermal tourism region, over 50 geothermal wells and thermal waters ranging from 36 to 162 ° C as a province with one of our country's major centers of the thermal. Especially at high temperature and flow rate in Sımav-Şaphane waters have the potential for energy investments. Tavşanli, Emet, Gediz, in the center of Ilica and Yoncali thermal tourism regions and warming water temperatures are suitable. Because the neighboring provinces, Afyon, Eskisehir, Bursa and Usak geothermal fields, and also draws attention to their potential.Not possible to conduct geothermal exploration well enough known geothermal potential of Kutahya Altintas the District could have foreseen the high geothermal potential.In this study, the descriptions of operations for initiating the potential of geothermal district Altintas. In this context, the field of geology, geochemistry (CO2, radon, thoron, mercury vapor), and geophysical methods were applied. 3 units determined by evaluating the results obtained from the drilling location and the drilling started.
