Abstract (EN)

In this study, studies on solar energy potential in the province Kütahya were conducted and has been compared with the general information obtained from the General Directorate of Meteorology and the real data obtained from different meteorological sites. As an application, a system design and economic analysis of the electricity generation by using different types of photovoltaic (PV) panels for the unlicensed 336 kWh power station at Şehzade Park of İnköy neighborhood of the city of Kütahya were operated by Kütahya Municipality. Simulation studies of Şehzade Park SPP by using different types of PV panel types on PVsyst; "Photovoltaic Systems Software have been carried out. The results obtained from the program have been compared with the actual results obtained from one-year energy production. In addition, the 500 kw power of Evliya Çelebi SPP, which is planned to be built by Kütahya Municipality, was simulated with the PVsyst V6.78 program and the possible energy production values were analyzed annually. In the thesis, the selection of inverter type has been evaluated with the reasons of preference such as such as the most efficient inclination angle and climatic effects of PV panels on determination of PV panel type to be used for SPP. As a result, the pay-back time of the SPP plant was studied, and economic analysis of the plants were carried out.
