A socialogical research on violance perceives of students at primary school in Kütahya

Violance is an issue having many negative effects in both social and physcological perspectives affecting individuals in using of ability and skills and thus, affecting firstly individuals and afterwards public in social ways. This situation which is same for both violance applier and victims, mostly at education organizations, especially in primary schools show its effects. For this reason, it is important to find out reasons and effects of violance at primary schools and bringing some suggestions. On the other hand, restricted academical or field research performed in our country examine violance as a vocational issue or they have been focused on theoritical sources of violance in general. These research generally have mentioned on economical wiev of the topic. Hovewer, it is important to evaluate violance based on social-economical and social-culturel view. Looking this frame, it is suitable to evaluate the violance in social view.In this research, reasons of violance and demographic properties affecting the violance perceivings were evaluated on students at primary school in Kutahya. In the research, 123 primary school students in Kutahya were subjected to survey. According to results of the study, violance perceiving levels of students were depending on number of brother/sisters and education level of the mother, wheras not depending on gender and education level of the father.Key Words: Violance; Primary School; Education; Sociology.
