Özet (EN)

Population is the most important unit among the ones used to define the living elements of the ecological system. The numerical value of the individuals composing the population, together with their genetical and ecological characteristics forms the constitutional characteristic of the population. The distribution way of the individuals who constitute the population, its density, age distribution, sex proportion, population amount, variety in genetics and abundance alternations are the fundamental characteristics which are effective on the structure of a population. An examination of the environmental and biological factors which have affected the demography of the central district of Kutahya have revealed that according to the data of population, dependent population, education, birth, death, immigration, air pollution and water pollution obtained between the years of 2003 and 2007, in the recent years while the urban population has increased, rural population has gone down. Young people have become more independent economically. The rate of benefiting the primary care has increased. Consequently, the data have revealed that environmental and biological factors have effects on the demography.
