Abstract (EN)
Hypertension is a syndrome resulting from the unadjusted av erage blood pressure. The symptomes in some diseases accompanied by hypertension can deteriorate by blocking of beta receptors. Increasing dosages of β blocker and combined α-β blocker usage can cause water and salt retentions. This developing situation brings the usage of diuretics with itself. Additional preventions are necessary in β ve α blocker treatments. The single treatment drugs instead of these multi-treatments can be more useful. Therefore, our aim was to investigate the responses of KCl-contracted thoracic aorta to Cafeic acid phenyl ester (CAPE), Ammonium pyrrolidine dithiocarbomate (APDTC), SG-Benz and Atorvastatin Ca. Four groups were formed according to the application of Atorvastatin Ca, CAPE, APDTC ve SG-Benz in our study. The total of 40 animals were studied as 10 animals per group. In the experiment, the rat is weighted first and then killed by cervical dislocation and the thoracic aorta removed from the body. The isolated organ with 3 mm diameter hung in organ bath containing Krebs-Henseleitsolution. The contractionability of the organ is tested first and then, the precontraction with KCl is applied. The NO synthesis in endothelialthoracic aorta is halted by the application of L-NAME. The chemicals are applied cummulative with the dosages between 1x10-9 - 3x10-4 M. The contraction-relaxation responses were recorded by using isometric transducer. The meaning full differences were found between groups with the certain dosages used for contraction. The highest relaxation response were obtained in CAPE applied preparates. The relaxation order then was as SG-Benz, Atorvastatin Ca and APDTC from high tolow. As a result, the dosage dependent responses were observed for all the chemicals used.
