Abstract (EN)

Within the scope of this thesis study, La0.67Bi0.03Sr0.3-xVxMnO3 (x=0.0; 0.05; 0.10; 0.15; 0.20) samples were prepared using the solid-state method, and their structural, magnetic, and magnetocaloric properties were investigated. The produced samples were characterized by XRD, SEM, EDX, and VSM measurements, and the results obtained were discussed. The La0.67Bi0.03Sr0.3-xVxMnO3 compound was synthesized, and its structure and magnetic properties were characterized. X-ray analysis showed that the material has a rhombohedral structure with an R3c unit cell space group. V doping caused changes in the MnO bond length and the Mn single bond O-Mn bond angle, resulting in a decrease in the Curie temperature. The obtained compound exhibits a large magnetocaloric effect, which can be attributed to the sudden change in magnetization density caused by the phase transition near the single bond TC. As the Vanadium (V) doping ratio in La0.67Bi0.03Sr0.3-xVxMnO3 increased, voids in the structure increased due to the ionic radius, and a decrease in the TC value was observed.
