?-lactam and isoquinolineurea derivatives: Synthesis and biological activities evaluation

Abstract (EN)

In this study, primarily 15 imine compounds for 63 new compounds containing ß-lactam ring and then targeted ß-lactams were synthesized. A series of synthesized compounds have been found to be highly effective against the carbonic anhydrase enzyme. Furthermore all of these new ß-lactams have also been continually searched for their activities against the enzyme polyphenol oxidase and xanthine oxidase.In the second part of the thesis; it was aimed to investigate the activity of urea derivatives against PPO enzyme and 23 new derivatives of aminoisoquinoline connected to alifatic and aromatic group with urea were synthetized. Activities of some of these urea derivatives were investigated. On the other hand, the activities of synthesized aryl urea derivatives were investigated from the effectiveness against XO enzyme paint of view. The effects of other ureas against to PPO, XO and CA enzymes are still under investigation.
