Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, the effect of waiting time on formaldehyde emission of laminate flooring was investigated. For this purpose, formaldehyde emissions of test samples taken from laminates produced under the same conditions were determined at the end of the 1 st day, 1 st week, 2 nd week, 1 st month, 3 rd month, 6 th month, 1 st year and 2 nd year. A mixture of pinus and coniferous chips used as raw material was used. The mixing ratio of the chips from which the fibers are obtained; 30% wood chips (Pine), 70% wood chips (Beech). High density fiber boards (HDF), where laminates are obtained, are obtained by gluing the fibers with synthetic resins in an amount of approximately 9-14% relative to the full dry fiber weight, and drying them to a moisture content of about 8-12%, and pressing the resulting mat draft under high temperature and pressure. When the results were evaluated, it was found that there was a decrease in formaldehyde emission as waiting time increased.
