In this thesis, we establish necessary conditions for the existence of primitive embeddings of even lattices into lattices, and apply these criteria to characterize K3 surfaces admitting Enriques involutions. Utilizing Nikulin's theory of discriminant forms, we enumerate all such primitive embeddings into the lattice Λ⁻ and apply this framework to the problem of determining which K3 surfaces admit an Enriques involution. Furthermore, using the notion of idoneal genera, we classify all co-idoneal lattices as exceptional cases.
