Abstract (EN)

Leyla Erbil, one of the contemporary and innovative names of Turkish literature, did not remain indifferent to the social and political problems of her age and examined these problems in her Works. Erbil, looking critically at the era he lived in, challenged the established values of the society with an attitude of rebellion. She succeeded to be among the important writers of the period she lived in, with the forms and techniques she used in the works. The psychoanalytic theory, the foundations of which were laid by Sigmund Freud in the 20th century, examines people and human behavior. Examination of the characters, especially in literary works, is of great importance for this field. The psychoanalytic field was applied to works of art by Freud himself, and psychoanalysis and literature were combined in one pot. The association of these two fields gave birth to the psychoanalytic method of literary criticism. Starting from this perspective, we analyzed Leyla Erbil's work in the "Gecede, Hallaç, Eski Sevgili, Üç Başlı Ejderha, Cüce, Tuhaf Bir Kadın, Tuhaf Bir Erkek, Kalan, Karanlığın Günü, Mektup Aşkları" in terms of psychoanalytic analysis method. Keywords: Leyla Erbil, Novel, Psychoanalysis, Story, Woman.
