The examination of the factors that reveal the features of becoming leader women: Living processes of leading women

The concept of leadership has preserved its importance since human existence, and many studies have been discussed about this concept. In this context, leadership and the qualities that leaders should have, increased competition with the developing and changing world order, provided an environment for new creative ideas to emerge as well as knowledge. With the inclusion of women in active working life in today's life, researches on this subject have also diversified. Within the scope of the research, various opinions have been put forward at the point reached from history in the process of leadership concept. However, while these opinions and practices were insufficient in the situation and conditions of the period, people-oriented leadership approaches were placed at the center of the foreground. In the light of these approaches, the research has primarily addressed the place and importance of women in society, and it has been tried to form the basis of the study by giving the current development main lines. Starting from the Paleolithic age, the place and position of women in society have been examined and the areas and behaviors in which they are effective in leadership are discussed with examples. The concept of leadership, its theories, gender and leadership, the obstacles encountered and its status in decision mechanisms, and its effect on today's leadership perception has been revealed and evaluated with the studies in the literature. Finally, according to the effective leadership characteristics SWOT analysis of success in Turkey creates interpreted difference in their careers in various fields 15 women participants and making semi-structured interviews, using content analysis of qualitative research methods, leadership styles have been determined to be effective. It has been determined that the female participants included in the study have human-oriented leadership characteristics. In general, family, self-confidence, education, spouse, perseverance, development in the field, courage, mutual trust, correct communication, vision, ownership, value to human, creativity and adaptation to the environment. The important key that affect success are determined as values.
