Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, the numerical solutions of the non-linear Fisher equation with B-Spline functions are examined in general and it consists of five parts. In the introduction, the basic concepts and equations that will be used in the thesis are briefly explained. In addition, the error norms used in the measurement of the errors that occur in the solutions of the equations are given. A literature review of the equations was made and previous studies on this subject were included. In the other section, the numerical solutions of the nonlinear Fisher equation with exponential B-Spline functions are examined. In the next section, numerical solutions of the exponential cubic B-Spline functions of Fisher's equation are made by Galerkin's method. In the other section, the solution of the Fisher equation with the trigonometric cubic B-Spline collocation method is examined. In the conclusion part, the results and recommendations are given.
