Abstract (EN)
This research aims to reveal the reasons that lead to deism them by investigating the opinions about deism of high school students in Tokat. The sample of this study, prepared using the quantitative research method, consists of volunteer participants who receive education at Science High School, Anatolian Religious Vocational High School, and Anatolian High School in Tokat. A questionnaire consisting of two parts is used as a data collection tool. As a result of the study, it is detected that is not at the cognitive level the deism tendency of high school students in Tokat. It is observed that the students lack in the knowledge about deism and Islam. Additionally, it is determined to change as regards high school types. The deism tendency of Science High School and Anatolian High School students is more than Anatolian Religious Vocational High School students. This situation, it is closely related to intensity of religious education in Anatolian Religious Vocational High School.
