Abstract (EN)
In this study, the high-school students' exclusion behaviours from the groups of friend-peer which arose from the socio-economic reasons were reviewed in the sense of social service in the study. The exclusion survey form, the name generator and the formal interview form were used in order to determine the socio-economic reasons under the high-school students' exclusion from the groups of friend-peer at the school. The findings which were obtained from the research data were analyzed with SPSS-22, NodeXL Version: 1.0.1.337 programs, they were assessed with the ecological, theoretical viewpoint and the strengthening approach. The research was done with 1530 participants in 59 different classes at Cevat Ayhan Science High School , TES-IS Anatolia High School, SATSO Vocational and Technical Anatolia High School and Fatih Industry Vocational High School in Sakarya. As a result of research, it was seen that the form and level of students' exclusion from the groups of friend-peer on the base of the socio-economic reasons were different on the base of their ecological environment and individual properties. The following case were found as the reasons of exclusion from the groups of friend-peer at the schools; the students' father's job, the frequency to receive an allowance, the body image and obesity, the frequency to change the smartphone, the satisfaction and dissatisfaction in the family's economic status, fashion and their clothes' style. The social and economic reasons of exclusion at schools are integrated and complex. The students who are excluded from the groups of friend-peer attend in less socio-economic activity than the students who aren't excluded from the groups of friend-peer. This case shows that the exclusion from the groups of friend-peer at schools is a result and reason also. The student who is excluded from the groups of friend-peer attends less in the socio-economic activities as a result of the exclusion, the student who don't attend in the socio-economic activities are excluded from the groups of friend-peer. The school has a formal structure. The most important social support resources against the exclusion of students should be their teacher. However, it was seen as a result of the research that the communication between the students and teachers is formed on the course and academic success. It was concluded that the implementation " Intern School Social Worker" should be done at the high schools connected to MEB to form the communication link between the students and teachers and to strengthen it against the exclusion, and the social policies " Social Worker's Home Visit Project" should be produced and done. It was found that the obesity is an important exclusion reason. There is not a term which corresponds the concept of exclusion on the base of obesity and body image in the literature. As a result of research, the concept of "esthetic exclusion" was generated.
