Abstract (EN)

The general purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between high school students' multiple intelligence domains and their life skills in sports and to compare them with various variables. The universe of this research in the relational scanning model consists of a total of 538 high school students, 200 females and 338 males, among the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade students who continue their education in Yozgat in the 2019-2020 academic year. In the research The "Personal Information Form" prepared by the researcher, the "Multiple Intelligence Scale " in order to determine the dominant intelligence field of the students, and "The Effect of Sports on Life Skills Scale " to determine the life skills in sports, was used as the data collection tool. As a result of the obtained data, the confidence interval was calculated as a = 95 and the error amount as 0.05. In the analysis of the data; The validity and reliability of the scales were tested with confirmatory factor analysis by examining the assumptions of the factor analysis, and their structural accuracy. "T" test and "Kruskal Wallis H" tests were used for multiple comparison tests of paired groups and more than two groups. In cases where statistically significant results were obtained, "Mann Whitney U" test was used in dual comparisons. Difference analyzes, correlation and regression analyzes were performed with SPSS 20.0, Confirmatory Factor Analysis Mplus 8.5. As a result of the research; In terms of gender varients, it was concluded that the mean scores obtained by the students from the scale of the effect of sports on life skills were significantly higher in favor of male students. In terms of gender varients, a significant difference was found between the average scores of physical and interpersonal intelligence in favor of male students, and at the verbal intelligence level in favor of female students. When the average scores of the students obtained from the scale of the effect of sports on the life skills of sports according to the variable of doing sports, it was concluded that the mean scores of the students who do sports are statistically significantly higher than the students who do not do sports. When the multiple intelligence characteristics of the students were examined according to the variant of doing sports, it was found that the average multiple intelligence scores of the students who do sports are statistically significantly higher than the students who do not do sports. As a result, when the regression analysis related to predicting the effects of students' multiple intelligence domains on the life skills of sports is examined; It has been determined that multiple intelligences is a significant predictor of HBS
