Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this research was to show the relationship between emotional labor behavior and subjective well-being of high school teachers. Quantitative research method was used in this research in the relational screening model. The study's universe constitutes 680 teachers working in Kastamonu city center. The number of teachers who constituted the study universe of the study was thought to be large enough. Hence, no attempt has been made to take a sample from the working universe. Therefore, the research is a full-time universe study. Personal Information Form, Emotional Labor Scale, Subjective Well-Being Scale were used to collect the data of the study. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS 17 packet program. In the analysis of the data, mean, standart deviation one way MANOVA, regression analysis were used and Pearson Correlation Coefficient technique was used. The results obtained are discussed in the context of the relevant literature. According to study findings, it was found that female teachers exhibited the most surface acting and the least genuine acting while the male teachers exhibited the most genuine acting and the least surface acting. It was found that there is no significant difference between the teachers' emotional labor, subjective well being and independent variables. The subjective well-being of female teachers was found to be higher than the subjective well-being of male teachers. It was found that there is a significant positive correlation at the low level between teachers' emotional labor and subjective well-being.
