Abstract (EN)
This study aims to make important contributions at both individual and organisational level by analysing the relationship between teachers' job satisfaction and cyberloafing behaviours. The study aimed to examine the relationship between teachers' job satisfaction levels and their cyberloafing behaviours. The Virtual Logging Scale developed by Örücü and Yıldız (2014) and the Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale developed by Baycan (1985) were used as data collection tools. SPSS 26 data analysis package was used to analyse the data. The kurtosis and skewness values were examined to determine whether the data were suitable for normal distribution and it was concluded that they were suitable for normal distribution. Accordingly, parametric methods were preferred in the analyses. The relationships between binary variables were evaluated by Pearson Product Moment Correlation method, and t test and ANOVA tests were used for group comparisons. Posthoc tests were applied in cases where there was a significant difference as a result of ANOVA test. The results of the study showed that there is no significant relationship between job satisfaction and cyberloafing behaviours. However, whether these two variables differ in terms of certain demographic and occupational characteristics was examined in detail. No significant difference was found between job satisfaction and cyberloafing behaviours according to gender, marital status and educational status variables. However, no significant difference was found between age, career.
