Abstract (EN)

The Turkish language questions in LGS are examined in the context of the Turkish Language Teaching Program and PISA Reading Skills Competencies. Turkish questions in LGS applications conducted in the last four years (2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021) were discussed in accordance with the skill areas and achievements in the Turkish Course Curriculum updated in 2019. In another dimension of the research, the LGS Turkish department questions asked about reading skills in the last four years were evaluated in the context of PISA Reading Skills Proficiency Levels. The study was carried out using the qualitative research method. In order to obtain the data, the document analysis method was used. The data obtained were analyzed using the content analysis technique and the distribution of the available data was presented in the form of percentage and frequency values via tables and graphs. In addition, expert opinions were sought in the data collection and analysis of the data. In the study, a total of 80 Turkish questions were examined, including 20 questions in each year. According to the data obtained as a result of the study, it was determined that the LGS applications conducted in the last four years mainly include questions related to reading ability and minimum level of writing ability. In the context of reading and writing skills, it was understood that some of the questions related to achievements were included in each application, and some of the achievements were not included in the exams as questions in any application. In addition, it was found that any problems related to listening and speaking skills areas were not included in the exams conducted in the last four years. Research questions in Pisa reading skills in another dimension, LGS 2018 and 2021 as a result of the investigation within the scope of Competencies in the year of lower-level questions regarding qualifications; competences of the questions for the exam in 2019 and 2020 that I took part in a relatively senior is concluded. In this context, exams that prioritize holistic assessment can be prepared for the areas of speech and listening skills, as well as suggestions are presented in accordance with the result of the research.
