Özet (EN)
Lithium aluminosilicate glass-ceramic materials show high mechanical, thermal, chemical resistance and have low expansion coefficient. This material is used in such as space, aviation and communication, as well as in daily life. The lithium-aluminosilicate glass ceramic material, which can be produced by various methods, was produced sintering and shaped by the slip casting method for this thesis. Although slip casting provides economical production of complex shapes, it is not a widely used method in shaping for this material. Within the scope of this study, at first obtaining a stable slip, so stable final products were produced by shaping with slip casting method. Due to this feature of the slip casting method, it is predicted that the usage area of the lithiumaluminum silicate glass-ceramic material will expand and that some lithiumaluminasilicate glass-ceramic materials can be produced more economically. The last step of the production of lithium aluminosilicate glass-ceramic materials is a heat treatment process that includes nucleation and crystal growth steps, and with this process, they have a regular crystal structure. In this study, since a porous material is produced by sintering method and sintering has been densification. Density is an important parameter affecting the properties of lithium-aluminosilicate glass-ceramic material. Therefore, the effect of sintering temperature and time on the microstructure and properties of the material was investigated. As a result of these examinations, samples, which have optimum properties, were produced by determining the optimum sintering temperature and time.
