Examination of logistics information systems within the framework of ERP: Example of micro software

Developing and changing technology makes it difficult for businesses to survive in a competitive environment.Reducing response times for customer demands and needs has become one of the most important goals of businesses.The logistics sector has become an important competitive element for businesses that want to respond to the demands and needs of their customers in the fastest time.With the developing technology and the increase in competitors in the sector, information and technology have started to be needed more and more in managing the dynamic and complex logistics activities of the enterprises and in solving the problems. Businesses benefit from logistics information systems during the successful management and maintenance of the logistics process. Information systems ensure that the planning and operational processes of the enterprise work in an integrated manner and provide the internal information and data flow within the enterprise. In this thesis, anonymous data belonging to the pre-enterprise resource planning period of a local company and the period when Mikro Yazılım, which is an integrated software system with the transition to enterprise resource planning, started to be used, were examined. In the period before and after enterprise resource planning, stock tracking success status, customer satisfaction status, business personnel change status, customer change status and storage activities change status findings are explained.
