Abstract (EN)
The rapid development of technology has brought many innovations along with it, and it is seen that businesses in the logistics sector shape their activities by keeping up with technological innovations. While businesses provide the opportunity to access the desired information about the location and status of their vehicles in the distribution channel, thanks to vehicle tracking systems, they perform much faster, safer and higher quality activities by using these systems in many different areas such as packaging, storage and customs clearance. People who are users other than businesses benefit from using vehicle tracking systems via mobile phones or other electronic devices. Especially in recent years, vehicle tracking systems have been used through mobile applications and are involved in the activities of many different brands. This thesis mainly focuses on the usage differences and effects of mobile applications with vehicle tracking system. The aim of the thesis is to examine the mobile applications with vehicle tracking system (GPS) and to reveal the effects on the activities of the users by looking at the differences in acceptance and perception of the technological innovation vehicle tracking systems. For this purpose, an online survey was conducted with 395 people from employees and customers who are mobile application users with a vehicle tracking system (GPS). According to the results of the research data; It has been concluded that the perceived ease of use affects the perceived usefulness, the perceived ease of use and the attitude of the perceived benefit, the perceived usefulness and the attitude affect the intention, and the intention significantly affects the behavior in the cases where the users accept the mobile applications with vehicle tracking system. In addition, the perception and acceptance status of mobile application users with vehicle tracking systems show a significant difference in terms of employees and customers.
