This research was carried out to examine the effect of different seeding norms on yield and quality in Hungarian vetch in the ecological conditions of Bingöl province and to determine whether different seeding norms in Hungarian vetch will have a significant impact on beekeeping. The research was established in the 2021-2022 growing season on the application land belonging to Bingöl University Agricultural Application and Research Center. The experiment was set up with 3 replications according to the randomized block design and 7 different seeding norms (50. 100. 150. 200. 250. 300. 350 pieces/m2) were studied. In the research, the highest green herbage yield of different seeding norms in Hungarian vetch was obtained with 2455 kg/da from the plots with 350 pieces/m2 seeds, and the highest dry herbage yield with 382.6 kg/da was obtained from the plots with 350 pieces/m2 seeds. It was observed that the parcel with 300 seeds/m2 was statistically in the group that gave the highest value. It was concluded that the quality characteristics of Hungarian vetch examined in different seeding norms did not show any statistical difference. The longest duration of honey bees staying in flower was obtained from the plots planted with 350 pieces/m2 seeds, and the highest number of flowers per square meter was obtained from the plots planted with 200 pieces/m2 seeds. As a result, it was concluded that the use of 350 seeds per square meter is advantageous in terms of grass production in Hungarian vetch under Bingöl province conditions, while the use of 150-200 seeds per square meter is more advantageous in terms of both quality and its use as bee pasture.
