Abstract (EN)

Substance abuse is one of the serious problems of contemporary society. It must be effective treathment and rehabilitation schdule for welfare sociaty and healty person. Medical rehabilitation and social rehabilitation with drug addiction treatment is very effective for obtaining good results. Recently spiritual support approaches with these two methods are also applied in this process. The purpose of thesis study is evaulation role of spiritual care in relieving substance dependence. Case study is the research method of this thesis. Interview and observation technique, one of the qualitative research methods, was selected for collecting data. In this study, the substances and their effects which are commonly used by substance addicts are mentioned. Later, it was mentioned how a treatment and rehabilitation program is implemented for the addicts in Turkey. Spiritual support has been assessed in mediation from substance abuse. Finally, volunteer spiritual support was given to non-governmental organizations. In this context, an association was chosen as the case study. The resulting data were presented in theme with the help of Integrated Religious Counseling Model with Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy Approach. As a result, spiritual support is a dimension that affects the process of healing when the dependent person moves away from the drug. It can be said that these factors are supporting factors in separating religious belief and spirituality from substance dependence.
